Overwatch Competitive Play – Season 14

Get ready to sharpen your skills and perfect your strategies—Season 14 of Competitive Play has begun!

It unlocked at level 25, this Competitive Play was designed for those player who wish to put their skill in to a test, and offer a more serious experience than the Quick Play or even Arcade Modes.

In order to begin your competitive journey this season, click “Play”, select “Competitive Play” from submenu, and you are ready to enter a match, you can join on your own or in a team, and Overwatch’s matchmaking system will automatically find the game best suite your skill level.

Before you kick off your competitive career, every player will need to complete 10 placement matches to obtain their initial skill rating. This rating will be a number between 1 and 5000, the higher the values indicate the greater skill level. Players will be assigned tier based in the rating – Bronze, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master or Grandmaster – and climbing to next tier was possible as you improve.

Skill rating and tier icons will be visible at the beginning or every match. As you compete, your rating increases or decreases with each win and loss based on a number of factors, including your own performance and skill of the other player in match.

The detailed breakdown of skill tiers, along with icons and information about the corresponding skill rating can be found in the information button under the Competitive Play menu.

Furthermore, in order to experience the thrill of victory, players will unlock unique rewards through Competitive Play. Overwatch will send out special spray and player icon to those who completed their placement matches in the season. An extra player icon and animated spray will be given out to those Top 500 player on the platform (and in your region) at the end of the season.

On top of that, as you complete the competitive match, you will earn the competitive points, when season concludes, you will receive a number of those point which based on your overall performance that it could be spend on golden version of your favorites heroes’ weapon


The ambitious and calculating leader of Deadlock Gang – Ashe – steps into the battlefield for her first Competitive Play season, Ashe’s arsenal of weapon makes her a versatile offensive hero, capable of setting up the perfect situation to shoot down dangerous enemies from range or even deal high damage to groups of heroes.

    • The Viper
      • Ashe’s semi-automatic rifle fires quick shots, or she can use her aim-down sights for a more damaging, precise shot.
    • Dynamite
      • Ashe throws an explosive that detonates after a short delay or immediately when shot. The explosion from Dynamite also lights enemies on fire, dealing damage over time.
    • Coach Gun
      • Ashe blasts enemies in front of her, knocking them away and propelling herself backward for added mobility.
    • B.O.B.
      • Ashe summons her trusted omnic sidekick, Bob, who charges forward and knocks enemies into the air, then lays down suppressing fire with his arm cannons.
